Ronald McDonald House Atlanta has added six new members its board of directors, supporting the organization’s mission of keeping families together during the treatment of sick and injured children.
“We are thrilled to welcome our new board members, as their extensive skills and range of expertise will drive our organization’s success and long-term sustainability,” said Mike McCool, chair of the Ronald McDonald House Atlanta Board. “Every member of this team will be instrumental to expanding access to care and serving families who travel to stay with us.”
The new Ronald McDonald House Atlanta board members include:

Brad Alford
Alford is a 35-year investment veteran and founder of Alpha Capital Management. He previously served as the director of investment advisory services at MyCFO, the managing director of the investment division for the Duke Endowment and the director of endowment investments for the Emory University Endowment. Alford also was a member of the finance, investment, and audit committee and the capital campaign committee at Ronald McDonald House Atlanta.

Brea Hyle
Hyle brings more than a decade of experience shaping brand strategy, creative direction and marketing operations as the creative director at Peachtree Group. She previously served on the marketing and communications committee for Ronald McDonald House Atlanta, where she collaborated with leadership and fellow committee members to strengthen community awareness, donor engagement and brand presence.

Michele Richardson
Richardson is an attorney and president of HEA Consultants LLC, where she provides advice about successfully navigating complex non-profit organizations, growth through mergers and acquisitions and building better organizations.
She was recently the chair of the Advocate Health Board and is a member of several philanthropic organizations, including The Links Incorporated and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. Michele previously volunteered at the Chicago Ronald McDonald House.

Kearstin Schmidt
Schmidt is an accounting professional and the founder of BrightLight Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families of pediatric inpatients.
She and her family have spent time as in-house guests at Ronald McDonald House Atlanta while her two youngest sons required extended medical support, which fostered her lasting commitment to helping other families navigate similar experiences.

Bob Ward
Ward is the senior vice president and principal in the Colliers Atlanta Occupier Services Group. He specializes in tenant representation, developing and executing strategies to support growth, talent retention and operational efficiency.
Ward has been involved with Ronald McDonald House Atlanta since 1997 and has played a key role in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to support families in need.

Jill Wilson
Wilson is newly retired from Carter’s, where she served as global chief human resources officer, leading all aspects of human capital strategy across the company’s workforce including talent acquisition, development, compensation, benefits, HR technology, corporate communications and community affairs.
She currently serves as a national trustee for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Her previous board service includes the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, SHRM, the Alliance Theatre, Pajama Program and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Early Childhood Education
